Our Story

Welcome to The Sikh Games.

Har Maidaan Fateh

Success in every field

The Sikh Games is a UK based, not-for-profit organisation created to bring more ethnic minority participation in sport, while bringing communities together, locally and nationally. The Sikh Games represents a dynamic sporting celebration powered by values of Equality, Excellence and Collaboration.

Our aim is to create playing fields reflective of the multi-cultural society we live in, while tackling inequality.

We follow a regional model — teams are created based on the area you live in. The idea is to encourage a competition that draws participation across the United Kingdom while encouraging communities to work together locally.

Join us in this journey of sporting excellence — and help transform lives and change the face of sport.

Our Values

Equality. Excellence. Collaboration.

01

Equality

By encouraging more females to get involved in sporting fields, as Board members, Regional Leads and Ambassadors; creating opportunities for those with disabilities; and tackling inequalities — we are committed to leading change with social responsibility and empathy at the heart of it all.

02

Excellence

We invest in the growth and development of our community through Sports Excellence Camps, partnerships with governing bodies to upskill coaches and officials, and the upcoming Sikh Games App — bringing world-class coaching into homes by the end of 2026.

03

Collaboration

We unite communities through a regional model that strengthens local engagement. Most notably, a newly-formed Central London team finished 3rd in 2025 — driven purely by local commitment and teamwork. Team identities are based on region, Sikh identity, gender and sport — never caste.
