About the Awards
An historic first.
The Awards proudly honour the extraordinary spirit of the Sikh community in sport, celebrating everything from sporting excellence to the grassroots volunteers whose passion, sacrifice and seva inspire generations.
Following the incredible momentum of the national Sikh Games in London — now celebrated as the fastest-growing Sikh sporting movement in Britain — Sikh Games UK are honoured to deliver this historic first Awards ceremony.
All proceeds from sponsorship and donations will be used exclusively to deliver the Awards and the Sikh Games. The mission: increase participation, improve wellbeing, showcase talent, and create clear pathways for Sikh athletes into mainstream and elite sport.
Judging & Voting
Independent. Transparent. Community-led.
An Independent Judging Panel will assess and score each category. To ensure full transparency and public confidence, the Judging Panel contributes 40% of the final outcome — with the remaining 60% determined by the public vote.
For integrity and fairness, no member of the Sikh Games UK Executive Board, Regional Leads or Sports Leads will sit on the Judging Panel.
